ECS5™ is a groundbreaking tincture that contains 5 bio-enhancing active botanicals that work synergistically to enhance the effects of CBD. HempLand® USA founder Rick Waggoner explains why ECS5™ is different than other CBD product out there!
My favorite, of course, is our ECS5; which is our full spectrum CBD plus ECS5, which is 5 different natural herbs that work along with CBD to support your endocannabinoid system.
ECS5 contains five different herbal extracts. The number one is black pepper extract. Black pepper extract’s interesting because not only does it make CBD more bioavailable, it contains the highest level of any known herb of beta caryophyllene, a terpene, but it’s a cannabinoid.
It fits into your CB2 receptor in your immune system. It adds it adds more support to your endocannabinoid system, but it also contains something that I don’t think very many people know about.
It’s called Kinesin. And Kinesin is an alkaloid that essentially acts the same way as CBD but, it’s not clearly understood how it does this.
It stops the uptake of Anandamide, in another way just like CBD inhibits FAAH, well Kinesin does something else; but the end result is it increases the level of Anandamide which is really interesting.
Anandamide, also known as N-arachidonoylethanolamine (AEA), is a fatty acid neurotransmitter derived from the non-oxidative metabolism of eicosatetraenoic acid (arachidonic acid), an essential omega-6 fatty acid. The name is taken from the Sanskrit word ananda, which means “joy, bliss, delight”, and amide. It is synthesized from N-arachidonoyl phosphatidylethanolamine by multiple pathways. It is degraded primarily by the fatty acid amide hydrolase (FAAH) enzyme, which converts anandamide into ethanolamine and arachidonic acid. As such, inhibitors of FAAH lead to elevated anandamide levels and are being pursued for therapeutic use.

Then, we have clove which also is filled with with different terpenes. We have Rosemary; another herb that’s filled with other terpenes. These all support your endocannabinoid system.
And then we have hops which has Humulon and Lupulon which work with your endocannabinoid system similar to CBD; they give it they have a calming effect.
And then we have a very interesting thing, it’s called jujube extract. but within jujube extract we have something called Oleamide. And Oleamide is a cannabinoid memetic, it acts like cannabinoid. Which, THC does the same thing; it acts like a cannabinoid.
But it works similar to CBD, there’s a lot of studies that it has an effect on a calming anxiety and pain.

So you’ve got these five different ingredients on top of full spectrum CBD. When you put them all together you get a symphony of support, you’re not just getting one note.
CBD will albeit be a very important note, but you’re getting all these other ingredients that help CBD to support your endocannabinoid system. And if you remember one thing, just remember that your endocannabinoid system is the hero, that’s the system that’s doing all this.
CBD is just asking your endocannabinoid system to do certain things. And these other five ingredients do the same thing. So you’ve got it, you’ve got a really comprehensive way to support your endocannabinoid system – and this is important.
