CBD oil can be used under law by patients in the medical marijuana program if it is derived from the marijuana plant. If derived from the hemp plant, the law is less clear and falls under federal guidelines.
Select jurisdictions have charged CBD users with possession. Due to arrests at airports and Disney World (no charges have been pressed), users are encouraged to proceed with caution until the law is clarified.
